The Android 5.0 Lollipop update has been rolled out by many carriers to a slew of smartphones and tablets across the globe. However, the latest additions to this never-ending list of handsets are LG G3, LG G2, HTC Desire 816, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5.

Android 5.0 Lollipop Update For LG G3/LG G2

According to Phone Arena, T-Mobile is apparently gearing up to roll out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for LG G3 and LG G2. The carrier’s software update page has reportedly been updated to showcase the current status of the aforesaid devices. The 2014 flagship G3 and the 2013 flagship G2 were reportedly listed as being in “Manufacturer Development” phase. But now, the devices have been moved to “T-Mobile testing.” As the name implies, the carrier is apparently testing the software prior to sending out the updates over the air (OTA).

It is worth reminding that Sprint and AT&T LG G3 have reportedly been updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The LG G2, on the other hand, will apparently follow suit. However, T-Mobile has been quite slow in sending out the updates.

Android 5.0 Lollipop Update For Sony Xperia T2 Ultra

Based on the reports from GSM Arena, the official Twitter account of Sony Xperia apparently stated that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be sent only to Xperia Z line-up of phones. However, a Bluetooth certification tagged as "Tianchi Update to L" reportedly states otherwise. It is worth noting that the codename "Tianchi" is tied to the handset Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and "L" is nothing but the Android Lollipop. Plus, the certification was reportedly issued on March 11 and the result has been out only recently. Although this certification proves that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Sony Xperia T2 Ultra is in the works, there is no official word on the release date of the update, at this point.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update For HTC Desire 816

Phone Arena says, the HTC ROM developer LlabTooFeR has apparently revealed via his Twitter account that the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for HTC Desire 816 will be rolled out in April. In any case, the tweet does not confirm if the latest HTC Sense 7 UI will be part of the Android update.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update For Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5

Apparently, the South Korean tech giant has begun sending out the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. However, the debut location is France and the rest of the countries will follow suit eventually. This OTA update for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 apparently pertains to the Wi-Fi model of the tablet, tied to the model number SM-T800, notes Sam Mobile.
