The 2010 season of Dancing with the Stars is airing soon on Channel Seven and will include celebrity Alex Fevola, wife of Brisbane Lions player Brendan Fevola.

Fevola admitted that had she not moved away from her bad-boy footy-star husband, she would not be able to participate in the show.

The 33-year-old went back to Melbourne last month and is helped by her mother, mother-in-law and sisters in looking after her daughters.

"That help is all the more crucial with Dancing with the Stars rehearsals six days a week," the blonde celebrity said.

She adds, "If I was still up in Brisbane, there is no way I could do it. There wouldn't be the family to help with the kids, and Brendan's got his own busy schedule."

According to Alex, her husband was involved in deciding whether to appear or not on Dancing with the Stars, saying, "We've always watched the show and thought it would be so much fun."

Also part of the line up are pop star Tamara Jaber, AFL legend David Wirrpanda, former Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch, former rugby league star Jason Stevens, country music singer Melinda Schneider, actor Heorge Houvardas, performer Jo Beth Taylor, actress Esther Anderson, actor Blair McDonough, and DIY guy Rob Palmer.

The celebrities will be dancing as a fund-raiser for the charitable institutions that each of them has chosen.

The show will still be hosted by Daniel MacPherson and Sonia Kruger, with returning judges Todd McKenney, HelenRichey and Mark Wilson.
