The mill has stopped spreading rumours. Ex-Spice Girl Mel B has been confirmed as "The X Factor" (UK) 2014 fourth judge, reportedly signing a £1 million deal to join Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh at the judges' table.

Mirror reported that Mel B has officially signed a £1 million "X Factor UK" contract after a final meeting with executives on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.

Mel B joining Cowell, Cole and Walsh has been the talks around the Web. Among the stars that were previously rumoured to become the fourth judge were "Britain's Got Talent" judge Alesha Dixon and DJ Sara Cox.

"Mel B was Simon's number one choice for the final place on the panel, he was really impressed when they met up and he likes her style and what she was saying she can bring to the show in their meeting," an "X Factor" source told the publication.

According to the report, however, Mel B's contract is "less than" fellow judge Cheryl Cole who is returning to the popular ITV reality singing show with a £1.5 million deal, which meant Cole's contract is half a million above Mel B's.

Earlier, "Britain's Got Talent" judge Amanda Holden revealed the fourth judge is not going to be her co-judge Alesha Dixon who have been rumoured to snag the last chair.

It was the frank Mel B, described by "The X Factor" New Zealand edition judge Stan Walker to Sydney Confidential as someone who "says everything that everyone is thinking at home" who gets to sit on the fourth judge's chair.

The Daily Star was the first to report that Mel B has finally signed up a deal with "The X Factor." Before "The X Factor" (UK), the 39-year-old former Spice Girl, known as Scary Spice, had been a judge for the Australian version of "The X Factor" and "America's Got Talent."

"Mel has signed up and is working out the logistics of where she will live and when she can fly in and out of the country," an "X Factor" source told The Daily Star.

Mel B is reportedly set to join Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh on the hit reality singing show on Monday, June 16 in Manchester to begin their search for the next "X factor" star.
