While all the attention were turned to “X Factor Australia” 2016 winner Isaiah Firebrace at the reality show’s epic finale, fans were also treated with the appearance of eliminated contestants, including crowd favourite Natalie Ong.

The Singapore-born powerful singer took to Instagram to share snippets during the “X Factor Australia” 2016 grand finals. Natalie posted a video of herself with Isaiah right after he was announced as this year’s winner. In the clip, she says, “Oh my gosh, Isaiah just won and everyone is just so happy for him.” She asks Isaiah, who’s quite emotional, how he’s feeling and he just replies, “I can’t believe it.”

I don't know what to feel really. JUST SO HAPPY FOR HIM.

Natalie then grabbed finalist Amalia Foy, who says “hi” to the camera. Natalie, Isaiah and Amalia all belong in the Under 22s category this year, mentored by “American Idol” runner-up Adam Lambert. Speaking of Adam, Natalie also posted a selfie with him, captioning it, “I'd like to say thank you so much @adamlambert for being my mentor, you're so genuine and inspiring. Missing you, and I hope to see you soon.”

Back in October, “X Factor Australia” fans were shocked when Natalie got eliminated from the top 9 despite her stunning performance of “When Love Takes Over” by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. Adam, along with the other judges Iggy Azalea, Guy Sebastian and Mel B said that she nailed the song. The 15-year-old student had been consistently set the fire on stage, with memorable renditions of Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” and Christina Aguilera’s powerful ballad “The Voice Within.”

Natalie was booted off alongside Timmy Knowles, Maddison Milewski and boyband Time and Place. Before leaving “X Factor Australia,” Natalie thanked her fans for supporting her on this journey. “I hope you guys continue to support me on my journey ahead,” she said.
