Michonne, like Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), is bada** when it comes to slaying walkers and bad guys. However, she seems to have not opened up much. In "The Walking Dead" Season 4 second-half episodes, she bonded with Rick's son Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs). The upcoming season will showcase Michonne doing what has to be done.

Danai Gurira talked to Entertainment Weekly about what kind of Michonne can fans expect in Season 5 of AMC's zombie show.

The actress mentioned that Michone wants more stability in her life. "The Walking Dead" Season 5 episodes will witness Michonne battling an inner struggle.

"She really believes that Carl needs something more stable than where they are and what they have been experiencing, but also she's very committed to what has to be done. She's a woman who does what has to be done, so that involves a lot of ferocity," Gurira said.

Gurira added that new season has an "interesting arc" as things will be complicated for her and she may have to stay strong and defeat the enemies.

Michonne, Rick and others are in the train car in Terminus as Season 4 concluded on a cliffhanger. Moreover, Beth Greene (Emily Kinney), baby Judith, Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) and Tyreese (Chad Coleman) are not with the group.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 will pick things up from Season 4 finale.

Recently, Gurira also revealed how she would like Michonne to die.

"I think it has to be a really great story, which they always are on the show. I would want it to be something that exhibits her complexity but it also would have to be authentic to her. She's just not going to go down without a pretty epic fight. That's how I see Michonne. It's not something she's going to accept easily. I would want her to go down in an epic fashion. That's what I want for her," Gurira said to Entertainment Weekly.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 starts on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 on AMC.
