‘The Vampire Diaries' Season 7 spoilers: Kat Graham talks ‘edgy’ season, teases future of Bamon couple
Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie in the hit CW series, “The Vampire Diaries,” recently revealed the future of the “Bamon” love line in an interview.
Graham was very candid with SheKnows.com as she spilled details about the upcoming season 7 and shared that Bonnie will be “working together a lot” with other beloved “The Vampire Diaries” characters. The actress was also asked if there would be developments for a “Bamon” love line in the series, to which Graham responded that she doesn’t know and is unsure about a future pairing between the two characters.
The actress explained, "I mean, Ian [Somerhalder] and I have campaigned to work together in so many interviews, and we've just been shut down. So we'll see what the writers come up with. But as of right now, nothing's happened."
Apart from the “Bamon” couple update, Graham was also excited about the upcoming return of “The Vampire Diaries” and teased that fans should look out for episode 5 of season 7, which the star described as a “huge episode” in the story. Graham’s Bonnie will also play an active part with the gang and even joked that it was nice to play with other actors, after season 6 left her mostly on her own.
"As much as I love working with myself, it's nice to play with other actors," Graham said. "We're working together a lot. There's a lot. Huge scenes with, like, everyone in them that take two days to shoot, yeah, we're doing those."
Graham also teased that the upcoming season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries” will be “edgy as hell” and commented how the CW series will feature “so much crazy, sexy sex and violence.” Graham continued, “You're in for it. It's a wild ride for sure."
Meawhile, in a previous interview, actor Somerhalder, who plays Damon in “The Vampire Diaries,” already described his character’s life without Elena, who was played by actress Nina Dobrev. Somerhalder explained that his character Damon won’t be engaged in a love story so soon after Elena’s eternal slumber and said that the scenario is still “far down the road.”
It seems that fans of the hit CW series will be in for another exciting season this year. Watch out for the series’ explosive return to the small screen when “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premieres on Oct. 8 in the U.S.
