'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Photo Still From Episode 9 Titled 'I Alone' Tease Damon-Elena Or 'Delena' Conflict

The Damon-Elena or "Delena" fans were heartbroken just like Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 7 titled "Do You Remember the First Time?" ending scene after the bad boy Salvatore vampire decided to let Elena (Nina Dobrev) go. The upcoming episodes tease that the Delena relationship will continue to head in a different direction as Elena hosts a "Friendsgiving" dinner in episode 8 without Damon in the guest list and a photo still from episode 9 hints that the TVD characters are in an argument.

A Carter Matt report suggests that the disagreement between Damon and Elena has something to do with rescuing their friend, Bonnie (Kat Graham), from being stuck in Mystic Falls 1994 with a psychotic magic-sucking witch named Kai (Chris Wood). The report further noted down that the subsequent episodes will now focus on the "Save Bonnie" mission after Damon found out that the Bennett witch is still alive in the ending scene of episode 7. Will the Mystic Falls gang succeed in bringing Bonnie back without letting Kai out?

Click HERE to see photo. According to a TVLine report, Damon and Elena will be teaming with Liv (Penelope Mitchell) in bringing Bonnie back.

However, Liv will have to make a difficult choice when things take an unexpected turn. The other details from the upcoming episode's synopsis in a TVFanatic report tease that Alaric (Matt Davis) will be an unwilling participant n Damon's plan, Elena will be shocked with Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) reaction to the good news about Bonnie, Matt (Zach Roerig) will be taking matters into his own hands after Enzo (Michael Malarkey) crosses a line and Kai will continue to be a dangerous threat to the Mystic Falls gang especially if he finds a way to get out of his 1994 prison.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network. Episode 9 titled "I Alone" is scheduled to air on Dec. 4, 2014.
