Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth are officially divorced after 12 years of marriage. But that's not what's amazing about their split. The Twilight actor and the Beverly Hills, 90210 star apparently have the most amicable divorce in Hollywood.

The former couple's divorce was officially signed on Tuesday. But even though they have ended their marriage, Jennie and Peter still trust each other.

According to TMZ, not only have they both declined spousal support, they have also opened a joint bank account for the care and education of their three daughters (15-year-old Luca Bella, 10-year-old Lola Ray, and 6-year-old Fiona Eve).

The friendly ex-couple will deposit equal amounts of money in the bank account, and both of them have full access to it.

And in what seems to be a novel thing in an industry where parents spend a fortune to fight for child custody, Jennie and Peter have agreed to share equal custody of their daughters, insisting that they don't need a formal custody arrangement.

The two met on the set of the TV movie An Unfinished Affair in 1996 and married in January 2001. In March 2012, they nnounced their impending divorce amid infidelity reports.

Peter was said to be involved in a torrid affair with an unnamed woman, which Jennie apparently knew for quite some time.

Another rumour claimed that their marriage ended because Jennie was so jealous of Peter's success. She used to be the famous one in their marriage, but that all changed when Peter appeared on Twilight and signed on with the U.S. series Nurse Jackie.

Whatever the cause of their breakup was, they seem to be handling it very gracefully. They are also making good on their promise to raise their daughters together.

"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time," they said in a joint statement last year.
