After winning countless awards and starring in different ads, Taylor Swift wouldn't strike anyone as the insecure or jealous type. However, with multitude of friends around her with an obviously better love life, the country crooner can't help but feel a tinge of jealousy. In an interview with InStyle magazine, the "Red" singer gets real and honest.

Taylor Swift has a lot of achievements for a 23-year old but that doesn't mean she's safe from insecurity. Like any other celebrity under the constant scrutiny of the media and fans, Swift sometimes can't help but feel inadequate especially when she's around friends with a better shot at a great love life than her.

"I feel jealousy, but I've been trying to channel it into mutual admiration and inspiration. If someone has a really great life or a really great boyfriend or career, I think, it's cool that happens. Now I have proof it can happen," stated Swift.

"Maybe that's out there for me someday. 'On the whole, I'm cool with myself. But on bad days, I can be insecure about every single thing,'" continued the singer.

Rather than feel depressed over her insecurities, Swift feels the opposite.

"I'm kind of happy being insecure," said Swift.

Putting aside her insecurity issues, Swift also touched on the topic of dating. The country crooner is well-known for her reputation of "serial dating." In a year, Swift has dated a number of men in Hollywood. The last relationship Swift was caught in caused quite the meltdown with fans. Who could ever forget "Haylor?"

Of course, the relationship between Taylor Swift and Harry Styles was short lived. In less than a month, Swift and Styles called it quits. Would there be reconciliation between the two? This would highly be unlikely given Swift clearly stated she'd avoid dodgy relationships.

"One thing I've learned that I'm proud of is when to walk away. I've had some short relationships because I know when to do that," stated Swift.
