There can be no other heartbreaking story than the afternoon that Super Typhoon Haiyan left of the Philippines this year. The latest rumoued death toll is at about 10,000 with no solid constructions that have survived standing still.

For the past several days, many families struggle not just in dealing with the deaths of their loved ones and friends, but also in search of missing people and the need to fight hunger. If you want to extend any form of help or support to the numerous Super Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines, here are ways on how you can easily do so.

For Emergency Support

Philippine Red Cross - Just visit their page and donate through the Supertyphoon Yolanda campaign.

Catholic Relief Services - You can call them at 1-877-435-7277 or donate through their page. They help with purifying water to make it safe for consumption, donation of materials for shelter and other living essentials.

Oxfam America - They have aid teams that are all ready to help those affected in the northern parts of Cebu and Samar, plus the northern and eastern parts of Leyte. They are set to render water access and other sanitation needs.

For Water and Food

World Food Programme - Since the October earthquake tragedy in the Philippines this year, this organisation has been already providing food assistance to the Filipino victims. You can help expand their efforts by donating online.

For Shelter

Habitat For Humanity - They are already offering help to about 30,000 families by supplying repair kits for shelter to help in rebuilding damaged homes. You can visit their Disaster Response Fund site.
