The 86 bedazzling women from all over the world battled it out yesterday (Nov. 9) at the Crocus Hall in Moscow, Russia to win the crown of Miss Universe 2013.

Maria Gabriela Isler of Venezuela was hailed the winner of the most prestigious beauty pageant, beating equally stunning candidates such as Miss Philippines, Ecuador, Brazil and Spain. Isler replaced Olivia Culpo of the US as the most beautiful woman in the universe.

25-year-old Isler is also a Venezuelan fashion model. The Latina beauty stands 5 ft and 11 inches as opposed to her predecessor Olivia Culpo, who stands just 5 ft and 5 inches. Isler shall be travelling all around the world to advocate for humanitarian causes and to make engage in awareness programs for women's welfare.

Venezuela has been known to hone beauty queens ever since, after having produced a staggering number of 7 title holders. The leggy beauty was overwhelmed with shock as she was announced the winner of the pageant. The Latina had a time lag after having been announced as the next Miss Universe 2013.

The Top 5 was yet again dominated by the Latinas, with only one Asian lass in the finals. Second runner up Miss Spain embraced Isler in a tight hug the announcement came. Miss Ecuador followed Spain with her splendid feathery long gown. Crowd favorite Arielle Arida of the Philippines bagged the third spot, followed by Miss Brazil.
