For the new couple on the show, Emily and Raj, it is time to meet Raj's friends. Leonard is worried what if Emily does not like them. If she does not, Raj says, he will send him Christmas cards for a couple of years and after that he is dead to him. Sheldon says that according to a study, being in a relationship means losing a couple of friends. He did not lose friends because he and Amy are not romantic partners.

Emily meets the group. Sheldon wants her to check his buttocks to see if he has warts. Amy says that despite being in a relationship for so long, she couldn't make Sheldon drop his pants, and Emily manages to do that in a couple of seconds of meeting him. After Emily leaves, Penny tells Amy and Bernadette that Emily does not like her. Amy is surprised to know that no one has ever told Penny that they hate her on her face.

Penny soon finds out the reason why Emily does not like her. She visits Emily's clinic to do a mock demo of selling drugs for her new company. Emily does not hide her lack of interest and is not paying attention to what Penny is saying. Penny sees that and wants to know why Emily hates her. Emily reveals that Raj had told her that he and Penny had hooked up in the past.

When Penny confronts Raj, he says that they were talking about their past hook ups and that is how Penny's name came up. And, he says that he is not going to leave her off his list. Later, Raj and Emily come to meet Penny at her apartment. Raj wants them to get along as he loves both of them. He soon corrects that he does not love Penny, romantically. It all looks good till Penny says goodbye to the new couple and closes the door. Standing on the other side of the closed door, Emily says that she hates Penny.

Meanwhile, Leonard, Howard and Sheldon have a list of complaints about the new comic-book store that they have started visiting after Stuart's store got burned down. They come up with an idea of pitching in some money to help Stuart start his comic-book store again. Stuart has still not moved out of Mrs Wolowitz's house. Whenever the topic of Stuart comes up, Howard is on the verge of blowing up.

It is Sheldon who reminds his friends that they have not yet talked about investing in the comic store with their significant others. Penny' reaction can be summed-up as 'why are you telling me that'. Bernadette says no but then Howard's makes up a childhood sob story and gets her yes. Sheldon asks Amy but before doing that, he makes it clear that he does not care what she thinks about his plan to invest.

But, Stuart does not need the money. He informs Howard that Mrs Wolowitz has already given him the money for the comic-store.
