Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is reportedly as fast as the Galaxy S7, a leaked benchmarking sheet has revealed. Earlier leaks showed the tab to be housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. This proved that Samsung was not compromising on specs and fans could expect an excellent hardware configuration when the tab would release. Fans are still expecting the Galaxy Tab S3 to deliver top quality performance despite Samsung remaining silent on the tab. The Galaxy S7 is considered one of the fastest and best Android flagships.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 performing at the same efficiency as a Galaxy S7 is a big deal. According to WCCFTech, the model number shown in the benchmarking sheet reads Galaxy Tab S3 SM-T825. It also features an LTE modem. This in turn suggests Samsung’s plan of releasing two Galaxy Tab S3s, one with cellular connectivity and the other without it. It is really great of Samsung that it is developing the Galaxy Tab S3 with the same care and time as it made the Galaxy S7.

Device manufacturers are increasingly focusing on smartphones and in general, popularity of tabs has declined in recent years. Samsung’s attempt in making the Galaxy Tab S3 as good as the Galaxy S7 proves the company is again trying to fuel consumer interest in tabs. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge both house a Snapdragon 820 chipset. Galaxy Tab S3 is rumoured to have the same processor. The tab is expected to have 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The screen reportedly measures 9.6 inches when measures horizontally.

Tablet Monkeys has shared the benchmark sheet that shows the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also have faster UFS storage. The tab's read/write speed is twice as fast as before. Looking at how Samsung is bumping up the specs of its Galaxy Tab S3, a 4K 12.9MP camera can’t be ignored completely.
