Earlier, fans have speculated that the PS4 will be getting some PS1 and PS2 classics. This was earlier rumoured for the 3.0 update, though it did not come to fruition. In addition, there have been sightings of PlayStation classic games that have ratings for the PS4.

Now, there are three more PS2 games that have been rated for the PS4. These are “Dark Cloud,” “Ape Escape” and “Twisted Metal: Black.” According to Gearnuke, the PS2 games have been rated for the PS4 even without having been announced for the latter console.

The new development in this speculation pointed to the “Star War Battlefront” wherein some trophies for the PS2 classics included in the bundle had been added to the PS4. A Redditor has now found that that the “Star Wars” game for the PS2 has been streamed on Twitch. Though this stream now appears to be an emulation on the PS4.

The native PS4 emulation of PS1 and PS2 games has not been announced as an official feature for Sony’s next-gen console. The most that has been sighted as evidence for this feature is a patent previously filed involving PlayStation classics.

Playable PS1 and PS2 classics may not be far off in the PS4 plan. Previously, a new survey for the PS4 4.0 firmware update was leaked. Inside the survey were some possible PS4 features added with the update. The PS4 survey, which had been via invite only, had contained a few suggested features, the most notable of which is PS1 and PS2 classics playable on the new console.

For PlayStation fans who want to avail of the PS4 this holiday season, there is one new bundle that may be a great value for money buy. A new bundle find by CG Mag Online shows off the new 1TB PS4 console bundled with three games. The games include “The Last of Us Remastered,” “God of War III” and “Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.”

Currently, the PS4 bundle is only available in the U.K. via GameStop. It’s priced at £289.97 (approx. AU$ 620). This is just one of the PS4 bundles that fans can get to play newer PS4 titles.
