PAX Australia panels revealed, includes exclusive look at ‘Uncharted 4,’ panels for ‘Just Cause 3,’ ‘The Witcher 3’ and more
Before the month ends, gaming fans can look forward to another gaming event, this time taking place in Melbourne, Australia. The PAX Australia schedule has already been released, and there are a number of interesting panels that long-time fans of some series can enjoy.
PAX Australia will be a three-day event, and GamaSutra obtained the official press release for the event’s schedule. "Deus Ex" creator Warren Spector will be opening the event, as previously reported by IGN.
On the first day, games like “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” and “DayZ” will have their own panels. The former will feature exclusive gameplay while the “DayZ” developer will give more insights on the future of the game towards its Early Access. Other panels for the day will talk about game creation and the videogames industry following the closing down of a studio.
A couple of other major developers will take the stage during the weekend. “Just Cause 3” developer Avalanche Studios will show off where the team got inspiration in creating the game. NGD Studios and Wargaming’s reboot “Master of Orion: Rebirth of a Legend” will also be featured in a special presentation during its hour-long panel.
Capping off the event on Sunday are developers with two of the hottest games to date. Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer will show off an exclusive look for “Uncharted 4.”
Developer for “The Witcher 3” CD Projekt Red is also set to discuss the game’s future. This involves both planned expansions for the Wild Hunt title, as well as the future of “The Witcher” as a series.
Over at the official PAX Australia website, fans can still avail of tickets to the event. Currently, Saturday only tickets are already sold out, as is the three-day badge. The International Three Day badges are still available, though they are already low in stocks. There are also only a few tickets left for Sunday, priced at $60. This may be a good deal for “Uncharted 4” fans, as this is the day for Naughty Dog’s panel. The Friday only badge is also currently available.
