A new behind-the-scenes picture of Caitriona Balfe (Claire) from the production set of “Outlander” season 4 has been released online. The picture shows the actress in full costume, getting ready to film her scene.

Claire will mostly be seen in the American colonies in the next season, and the new picture that has been released online [see below] shows her in full costume and makeup.

One of the crew members can be seen adjusting Balfe’s hair in the picture. Apart from Claire’s costume, which is back to earth colours this year, the fans also get to see some of the costumes of the extras on the show.

Another behind-the-scenes picture that has been released online by Co-executive Producer Maril Davis [see below] shows John Bell (Young Ian) jokingly complaining about the signboard outside his trailer. “Um, apparently someone has been downgraded with a home made sign,” Davis jokingly wrote in the post.

This is the last week of the production of season 4. “Last Monday of S4! Sad that it's the last Monday I'll see our crew for awhile but happy that everyone is getting some time off!” Davis wrote in another post [see below].

While the long break after season 4 wraps will give the cast and crew members time to kick back, relax, and also pursue other jobs, the cast members recently met for dinner to enjoy an evening with a former cast member.

Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie) shared a picture online of him meeting with some of the cast members [see below]. Balfe, Sam Heughan (Jamie), Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh), and Sophie Skelton (Brianna Randall Fraser) were present during the dinner.

“Outlander” season 4 is set to air in November. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date. More details about the plot and the air date may be announced in the coming weeks, after the filming wraps.
