Recently, Oppo had unveiled two new handsets, the Oppo N3 and the Oppo R5. According to fresh rumours, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer has yet another handset that is scheduled to get released very soon or before the year comes to an end.

Gizmobic has revealed the GFXBench benchmark tests of the Oppo U3 handset. According to GFXBench, the Oppo U3 comes with a 4.6-inch full HD display screen. Under the hood of the Oppo U3 is the octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC that delivers a clocking speed of 1.7 GHz. By this Oppo U3 becomes the first handset from the company to feature a 64-bit processor. It is supported by ARM Mali-T760 graphics and 2 GB of RAM.

The benchmark reports futher reveals that the handset comes with an inbuilt storage of 1.1 GB. GSMArena states that GFXBench usually lists the available storage space. So, if the available space is 1.1 GB then the Oppo U3 would most probably come with 4 GB of storage. There may be a possibility that the device that was tested may be an early prototype of Oppo U3 and this might be the reason why Oppo may not have added more memory on the device. Another report from GSMArena states that the handset may feature at least 16 GB of RAM.

The handset is also equipped with 12 MP rear camera which supports UHD video shooting. The frontal camera is of 5 MP that supports full HD recording. It comes preloaded with Android v4.4.4 KitKat. The connectivity features revealed by GFXBench include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

In the previous month, the Oppo N3 was unveiled as the successor model for Oppo N1. It is dubbed as Oppo N3 cameraphone as it features a 16 MP motorized camera. The Oppo R5 handset comes with modest specifications, but one of the salient features of the handset is that its thickness is only 4.85 mm that momentarily allowed the handset to bag the title of the world's thinnest smartphone. However, now it has been taken over by Vivo X5 Max which has a thickness of 4.75 mm only.
