Meizu is back in news with the next-generation smartphones. As per the latest report, the Meizu MX5 and Meizu M1 Note 2 will be unveiled in June.

Based on the new report from China, the Chinese tech giant Meizu is gearing up to organise two separate events next month for the introduction of Meizu MX5 and M1 Note 2. To be specific, the first special event is reportedly scheduled for June 2 for the announcement of the Mi Note successor dubbed the Mi Note 2. As far as the key Meizu M1 Note 2 specifications go, the handset will apparently flaunt a Full HD touchscreen, similar to the predecessor.

To top it off, the M1 Note 2 will also reportedly feature a fingerprint sensor embedded on the Home button. With the introduction of fingerprint sensor, the production cost will increase as well and therefore, readers can expect the M1 Note 2 price to be relatively higher when compared to the predecessor, notes GSM Arena. Also it is worth noting that, the predecessor was released only six months back.

On the other hand, the second special event is reportedly scheduled for June 30. And this is when the company will be introducing the flagship Meizu MX5, a replacement for the 2014 Meizu MX4. Key Meizu MX5 specifications include a killer unibody construction, negating the rear panel. Notably, the back shell will be removable. Furthermore, an oval shaped Home button with a fingerprint scanner can also be expected out of this flagship handset.

Under the hood, the device will reportedly be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 chip, clocked at to 2.2 GHz. Moreover, Gizmo China says, the power and the volume buttons will apparently be located on the right side of the handset, whereas the SIM card tray will sit on the left side. In any case, readers should note that, the Chinese tech titan has not confirmed the Meizu M1 Note 2 or Meizu MX5 specifications thus far.

Meanwhile, Meizu fans can now purchase the 2014 flagship MX4 from Meizu Mart for a price of $449 with 16 GB internal storage capacity. The device can also be availed as a 32 GB variant. Plus, the colour options include Gray, Silver Edge and Gold. In order to place an order head to Meizu Mart.
