Channel Eleven posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode. In the trailer, Jimmy is seen on the pavement, clearly in terrible pain after a car hit him and sped away. Amy rushes him to the hospital, yelling, “Karl! There’s something wrong with Jimmy.” Meanwhile, Mark questions Charlie whether he recognised the vehicle that hit Jimmy. Jack also figures in the clip as he prays for Jimmy while Amy cries her heart out.

Digital Spy reports that as a result of the hit-and-run accident, Jimmy’s spleen has ruptured. While it’s not too critical, Jimmy has to undergo a surgery. The spoilers also indicate that based on Charlie’s description of the car, it matches the one that Belinda was using. Steph doesn’t take this too well – she believes his jealousy has led him to that conclusion.

“Neighbours” recap

On Monday, Steph and Mark bond with Charlie at The Waterhole as Belinda forlornly looked on. When Steph left and Mark went to order some food, Sheila told him that Belinda’s been staring at them since they walked in. Mark couldn’t take it anymore and walked over to Belinda to introduce himself and make small talk. Later, when Steph returned, Mark confronted her about helping Belinda get her registration back with a testimonial. He suspects that it means something to Belinda and that’s why she’s hanging around. Realising this, Steph went over to talk to Belinda to make sure they’re on the same page.

Belinda said she’s accepted that Steph’s moving on with her life with Mark. However, when Charlie came over to their table, it seemed like Belinda was trying to get on his good side. This didn’t go unnoticed by Mark – he looked alarmed that Belinda’s sneaking her way back to Steph’s life. Mark shared this with Steph, who wasted no time reassuring him that she’s fully committed with him. Despite Steph’s attempts to wave off his fears, Mark still look concerned.

Back at The Waterhole, Belinda said she’d be leaving town for a bit but would be back next week. She asked Steph if she could stay at the motel, then brandished Charlie with a gift. However, Belinda got flustered when Charlie asked Steph’s permission to play it with Mark. Belinda pulled Steph aside and in the guise of friendship, questioned whether Mark is the right guy for him. Belinda brought up the fact that Mark once thought she committed a crime, but Steph defended her boyfriend. It seemed Steph realised Mark was right – Belinda hasn’t moved on quite yet. Later, Mark bumped into Belinda again and she informed him she’d be leaving soon but she’d definitely be back. Belinda also said she’s looking forward to hanging out with Steph more often. This was the last straw for Mark – he told Belinda to stay away from Steph.

Terese shared with Brad about her argument with Piper. Despite standing by her decision, Terese felt bad that her daughter won’t go to the school’s formal, especially after the terrible year that she had. Elsewhere, Piper broke the news to Tyler – her mum didn’t approve of her going to the ball with him. She also came clean about Brad’s seal of approval on their relationship. Tyler was surprised and lashed at Piper, saying he didn’t want them to sneak around. He was also taken aback with the fact that she lied to him.

Meanwhile, Xanthe was feeling low upon learning that Piper won’t go to the dance, and because she doesn’t have a dress yet. Gary promised her he’d help her get the one that she wanted. What he didn’t realise is that the dress Xanthe’s pining for is terribly pricey. When Sheila learned about it, she was livid – Gary promised his daughter something he couldn’t deliver. Gary said he figured he’d buy her something that looked like the dress on Xanthe’s mind, but Sheila said the teen would not be happy with a cheap knock-off.

Later, Tyler decided to approach Brad and set things right. Tyler revealed that he thought Brad’s okay with him seeing Piper. Tyler explained what he feels for Piper and Brad looked impressed with his maturity. Shortly after, Tyler turned to Mark about his messy love issues. Mark advised him to walk away before Tyler and Piper get way too much involved in the relationship.

Tyler called Piper to discuss what’s going on, and told her that he already talked to Brad. Tyler said he’s doubting whether he could trust Piper again after the stunt she pulled. Piper tearfully apologised. Despite feeling strongly for her, Tyler said he reckons its best that they end things now before anyone gets hurt. Unknown to them, Brad and Terese have agreed to give Piper a chance to show her maturity. Just as the two decided to let Tyler take their daughter to the school dance, Piper came rushing in, absolutely raging mad. She told them that Tyler doesn’t want to see her anymore.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Jimmy were playing outside. When the drone that Belinda gave Charlie flew too far, Jimmy rode his bike to retrieve it. He didn’t notice an oncoming car and despite Charlie’s warning, Jimmy got hit.
