Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo to Reunite with Cote de Pablo's Ziva David?

"NCIS" Season 11, Episode 17 airs on Mar. 18 on CBS. Another explosion is happening on the show. There is no new episode debuting this week. But new episodes will air in the next three Tuesdays without interruptions beginning Mar. 25. NCIS 10x17, titled "Rock and a Hard Place" guest stars Academy Award winner Keith Carradine.

Keith Carradine plays "a washed-up '80s rocker," as hinted by the CBS release on NCIS Season 11, Episode 17. A bomb explodes in military grounds, and it happens during a rock concert's rehearsal. Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and team need to figure out if there is a particular target. Meanwhile, Ducky's (David McCallum) protégé, Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), welcomes fatherhood.

NCIS 11 x 17 was written by Steven D. Binder and directed by Arvin Brown. This duo also teamed up on NCIS episodes "Devil's Triad" and "Devil's Trifecta."

NCIS Season 11 All Set to Intro NCIS New Orleans Characters

NCIS Season 11 is set to air the potential backdoor pilot of "NCIS New Orleans." Reports say all the characters will be seen in Episodes 18 and 19, airing on Mar. 25 and Apr. 1, respectively. The NCIS 11x18 episode is titled, ""Crescent City Part 1."

In NCIS Season 11, Episodes 18 and 19, NCIS New Orleans lead Scott Bakula ("Quantum Leap," "Men of a Certain Age") will be introduced as Gibbs' friend. Lucas Black ("The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," "42"), Paige Turco ("Person of Interest"), Zoe McClellan ("JAG"), and CCH Pounder ("The Shield") - all of the potential spinoff's core cast - will also guest star for CBS executives to see the cast chemistry and fan response.

"I'm watching the style of an 'NCIS' episode with this remarkable city as a backdrop, and it feels familiar," NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg told Nola.com. He adds, "But it's just different enough that I feel like I'm watching something special."

Some 17 million viewers tuned in a week ago to watch NCIS Season 11, Episode 16, "Dressed to Kill." This is the the show's 250th episode. Robert Wagner guest stars as Tony DiNozzo, Sr. He finally meets the new NCIS probie, Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham).

NCIS Season 11, Episodes 18 and 19 are only a couple of episodes away from the season finale. Early spoilers hint Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) will be at the center of this year's NCIS finale. This makes Tiva (Tony and Ziva David) shippers hopeful. Cote de Pablo may or may not be a part of this Season 11 special.
