Miley Cyrus Banned From Patrick Schwarzenegger's Sister's Birthday Bash, Liam Hemsworth Still Cares For Her -- Reports

Despite having the time of their lives hanging out and doing all sorts of PDA, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus are not convincing Katherine Schwarzenegger of their love. Patrick's sister reportedly banned the "Wrecking Ball" singer from her 25th birthday party. On the other hand, Miley's ex Liam Hemworth reportedly still cares about Miley and her well being in the hands of Patrick.

Patrick Schwarzenegger's family still does not believe that Miley Cyrus fits into their world. Hollywood Life exclusively learned that Miley was not invited to Patrick's sister's birthday party on Dec. 13. The event was attended by both family and friends of Katherine, so it cannot be counted as an intimate event, justifying the restrictive guest list. Miley Cyrus was therefore noticeably absent from the celebration. Moreover, considering how highly publicized Patrick and Miley's relationship was for the past weeks, this absence caused rumours and speculations to surface that the family still cannot accept Miley in their circle.

According to the source of Hollywood Life, Maria Shriver had a "sit down" with Patrick and told him to take his school and family more seriously than Miley. "[The family] had a big party on the weekend for his sisters birthday and Mile was not invited," the source detailed. "I'm sure it caused tension for them because there were a lot of people there, it wasn't just family," our source added.

The source added that Patrick's ex-girlfriend would have been invited to the bash, but not Miley. The source shared that Miley must be feeling bad over this. That Patrick would allow this is not surprising, the source shared. According to the source, Patrick loves his sister to bits and would not go against her word, especially not on her birthday. Patrick's mom also wishes that her son would come into his senses and stop seeing Miley, the source added.

If Patrick's family is still warming up to the idea of Miley Cyrus in their lives, Miley's ex, Liam Hemsworth on the other hand, is starting to worry for her. Liam is still allegedly protective of Miley. Even though Liam wants Miley to be happy, he is also suspicious of Patrick because he believes Miley could just be being used in this relationship for publicity. He is hoping that his suspicions are not true, but he could not help but doubt Patrick's intentions for being close to Miley.
