The Duke of Cambridge had to pull out from an important military event after his wife, Kate Middleton, suffers another severe morning sickness.

After spending three nights at King Edward VII hospital, Kate Middleton once again fell ill with morning sickness. The Duke of Cambridge then decided to pull out of attending the British Military Tournament so that he could look after his pregnant wife.

The royal couple were both originally planned to attend the event but due to Kate's condition, any forthcoming public engagements were cancelled so that she could receive treatment that is brought about by her pregnancy.

It also now appears that the Duchess of Cambridge will not be able to attend the premier of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" happening at the West End on Wednesday. The ill Duchess may not even be able to make it to some of her appointments for several weeks.

"The Duke of Cambridge will no longer attend the British Military Tournament at Earl's Court this evening, but will spend Sunday privately with the Duchess instead," a spokesperson of St. James Palace said. "It is well known that hyperemesis gravidarum often recurs and, until further notice, to allow the Duchess a degree of privacy during her pregnancy, we do not intend to offer regular condition checks or advise of routine developments associated with it."

William's cancellation from the military event comes after he went solo to attend a tennis charity gala. Without his wife by his side, the Duke made an appearance at the Winter Whites Gala held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

During the event, the Duke of Cambridge talked about his wife condition and joked that instead of calling it a morning sickness, it should be a "day and all night sickness. "

Kate and William officially confirmed about the pregnancy last week. The news has brought excitement and delight to the Royal family and the rest of the world. However, it also means that all eyes will be on Kate for the next 7 months during her pregnancy.
