The Duchess of Cambridge and his father-in-law apparently shares a similar passion for the opera and regularly visits the Royal Opera House.

Prince Charles of Wales surely had no problems with Catherine marrying his eldest son, William. Not only because Middleton is a woman of grace, but a big fan of the opera as well. According to a report, Catherine and Prince Charles saw an opening of Lewis Caroll's "Alice in Wonderland," at the Opera House when the famous story was turned into a ballet starring Lauren Cuthbertson.

Aside from watching operas together, it was also confirmed that the Royal in-laws helped each other plan the songs to be played during the Royal Wedding held last April. An insider says Prince Charles and The Duchess made "several" visits to the Royal Opera house "before and after" the date of the highly-publicized Royal union.

"The Prince is a firm supporter of the Opera House and the Duchess also seems to hugely enjoy her visits to Covent Garden. Both have been very enthusiastic about the productions they have seen together" said a source.
