HTC One M8: Verizon to Offer Android Smartphone in Red and Gold Colour Options on June 5
The HTC One M8 will be available with two more colour options. Verizon is set to offer the Glamour Red and Amber Gold HTC One M8 on Thursday, June 5, in addition to the Gunmetal Grey and Glacial Silver colour options.
Press renders of the HTC One M8 sporting the red colour option surfaced in late April. Now, customers who are interested with the red hue can have a look at the real unit set to hit the Big Red stores starting June 5. Click HERE to see photo.
According to the Phandroid report, Verizon will offer the red and gold versions of the HTC One M8 with $100 off from its $199.99 price on a two-year contract. The deal is good for a limited time only with the celebration of Father's Day close by.
Furthermore, the red and gold versions of the HTC One M8 smartphone will be available online, in retail stores and through selected authorized Verizon Wireless retailers. The HTC One M8 may have additional colour options but the same features and specs will still be found in the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer's latest flagship device. The HTC One M8 smartphone released in March 2014 sports a 5-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touch screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, dimensions of 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm with 160 grams weight, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a quad-core 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, HTC Sense 6.0 UI, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU.
Other features and specs found in the Android smartphone include the 4 MP primary UltraPizel Duo Camera that has autofocus and dual-LED flash, a 5 MP secondary camera, internal storage capacities of 16GB or 32GB that can be expanded up to 128 GB through the available microSD card slot, Google Drive with 50 GB cloud storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, NFC, microUSB v2.0 and the power of a 2600mAh non-removable Li-Po battery with 71 hours endurance rating, talk time up to 14 hours on 2G or up to 20 hours on 3G and stand-by time up to 271 hours on 2G or up to 496 hours on 3G.
