Along with the release of Android M, the latest and most powerful version till date, Google is expected to launch its new range of Nexus smartphones. There are host speculations in the market about the next generation Nexus phone, but most people expect it to be a 2015 edition Nexus 5. As per rumors the Google Nexus 2015 will bring two flagship devices – one made by LG and the other a phablet-size sibling assembled by Huawei.

For Huawei collaborating with Google is a big step forward in the U.S. market where its most reputed phones did not get the opening. The company has limited presence in the U.S. Few mid-range devices include Huawei P8 lite. The Google Nexus phone is expected to house a 5.7-inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip and a 3,500mAh battery. Another device, is supposed to be manufactured by LG. The handset will feature 5.2 inch display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 or Snapdragon 808 chip. The device will house 3GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128 GB internal storage options. Additional features include a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type C port as reported by iDigitalTimes. Since LG built the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, opting for the South Korean firm was obvious for Google. The Nexus 5 is consired to be the best of the lot and preferred by Android lovers.

As reported by MNR Daily teaming up with Huawei can also be beneficial for Google to come up with mobile app store in China. The government of China has been restricting Google from conducting major business in the country. The country has banned Google services like Gmail, Maps and Play Store. Huawei can help the tech giant other apps on the Play Store to be available in China. It will become the first ‘mainland china’ manufacturer to build a Nexus device.
