'General Hospital' spoilers for Feb. 8, 2017: Lulu overwhelms Charlotte; Anna gets unsettling memories; Dante gets a break in the case

After a mostly light-hearted episode, it looks like situations are going to get tough again at “General Hospital.” Things might be setting up for Valentine’s Day already, but there are issues that cannot just be brushed aside.

Previously, Nina Lansing (Michelle Stafford) turned to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) to ask her for a favour. Nina has been getting disturbed lately by some marital issues and it looks like Maxie would be in the best position to help her. Unfortunately, Maxie made an impulsive decision, much to Nina’s disapproval.

Things are tough for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) who had to take on the fight on her own by doing what she can to save General Hospital. Liz Webber (Rebecca Ann Herbst) went all out against angry nurses who had been against Hayden’s latest budget proposal. This led to the two sisters engaging in a heated confrontation on how the cutbacks would affect hospital operations, but Hayden refuses to back down.

The episode synopsis on Soaps She Knows reveals that Lulu Falconeri (Marcy Faith Rylan) will overwhelm Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) memories will become more and more unsettling as time goes by. Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will see a crucial break in the case.

Earlier, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had taken some time to give Lulu tips on her custody issue, which has been troubling her deeply. Alexis is not a lawyer, but she was able to give some tips that could somehow help. On the next episode, Lulu will spend some mother and daughter time with Charlotte. This time around, she will get overwhelmed by her mother.

As for Anna, she will find herself struggling with memories once again. She will get new information on Valentin Cassadine (James Stewart) that will stun her. Anna will have a lot of doubts and all these will lead to some health issues that will send her to a doctor by the end of the week.

As for Dante, he will corner Carly Jacks (Laura Wright) with some tough questions for his father’s wife. Dante is not sure whether or not Carly has been loyal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

This episode of “General Hospital” will air on February 1 at 1:00 p.m. on ABC in the US The soap opera has not appeared on Australian TV since 2011 but fans can definitely still watch the show online via ABC Go.
