Jesse (Violett Beane) and Harrison Wells (Tom Cananagh) will be on a journey from Earth-2 to Earth-1 on this upcoming episode. In the promo, Jesse is seen running through the portal very quickly. She, together with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) , join forces in running as fast as lighting to save a building from falling apart. From what appears, it seems that she is not a hero on Earth-2 but it is not yet clear if her new superpowers are the direct result of the explosion of the particle accelerator. Whatever caused her to be what she is know is not yet certain until the next episode will be revealed.

Comicbook.com reports that the CW is not wasting any time at all for the return of “The Flash” on next week’s episode. The promo for this upcoming episode, entitled “Magenta,” also teases what could possibly be the debut of another villain.

That new villain is Magenta (Joey King), a metahuman who has the uncanny ability to control metal. Just like all other villains, this new character will do whatever is on his mind and cause chaos on Central City.

The episode synopsis provides that Barry and his team are thrilled to unite once more with Earth-2 Wells. Wells will confide to Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) that Jesse now has all the powers of a speedster and has been saving people in their place. He gets concerned about her safety and wants them to be able to talk her out of using her newfound powers. Meanwhile, Magenta, terrorizes the city.

“The Flash” airs every Tuesday at 8 p.m. on The CW. It also airs on Fox in Australia.
