"The Fault in Our Stars" fans were delighted to witness the cast members of the movie, when they joined the soundtracks artists for a live-streamed concert, reported by Variety.

"The Fault in Our Stars Live Stream Event at YouTube Space LA" showcased a concert and a Q&A session featuring Ansel Elgort, Shailene Woodley and Nat Wolff. During the concert, Ed Sheeran, Grouplove and Charli XCX performed their numbers. Ed debuted the song "All of the Stars" at the event.

According to Variety, John Green was worried in the beginning about adapting the book for the silver screen. He was apprehensive about selling the rights in the first place.

"But the people who made this movie have been faithful to the themes, they've been faithful to the tone of the book, and I think for me at least that's what makes the movie so special," said John.

"The Fault in our Stars" producer Wyck Godfrey is not new to the concept of book adaptations. Wyck was associated with the "Twilight" franchise and stated the importance of sticking to the storyline.

"At the end of the day you just want to pay honor to the characters and the world that he created," said Wyck.

The cast talked about a wide variety of topics during the Q&A session like their careers as DJs as well as their take on the characters and book. They all mentioned that living life to the fullest is essential.

"The one thing that I learned from Hazel is that at 16 years old she recognized and realized that it's not about who remembers you in life," said Shailene.

This was not the first time for Shailene and Ansel as they worked together in "Divergent" as siblings. As a matter of fact, Shailene revealed that her chemistry with Ansel in "Divergent" helped her bond with him in "The Fault in Our Stars."
