What a weird way to be discovered. One time you're just a face among the crowd the next minute you're the next L'Oreal model.

BBC.com reports that Axelle Despiegelaere, a 17-year old Belgian football fan, has signed to a modeling contract by renowned L'Oreal after standing out amongst the crowd of fans during the 2014 World Cup. The teenager was heavily photographed in red, yellow and blck face paint representing her national colors during a match in Brazil.

While her beloved Les Diables Rouges by Wolrd Cup finals bound Argentina, her exposure during the group matches has earned her a lot of followers in social media. She has now amassed 200,000 followers in her new professional Facebook page.

However some sort of controversy still follows her as her previous Facebook page garnered some controversy when she posted a hunting trip picture with the caption "Hunting is not a matter of life and death. It's much more important than that... ready to hunt Americans today haha." Her instant shot to fame turned attention her controversial post which was done a year ago. The said personal facebook page was now closed down by the teenager.

Nevertheless, Despiegelaere is enjoying modest and new success with her World Cup stint. Part of her contract with L'Oreal is to appear in a new video which will promote the new products of the cosmetics company. The said video was already uploaded via Youtube and as of this writing has now garnered 1,307,950 views.
