Bethesda’s games are known to be quite massive in terms of the open-world and the number of quests, features and content. Sadly, the vast numbers of content found within their games come at a price. Aside from the amount of content, Bethesda’s games have also been made infamous for glitches and bugs that often affect the core gameplay.

Several players took to online forums to express their concerns about a newly discovered “Fallout 4” bug, which affects the way players see the game. The bug in question occurs when the character is attacked in the head. From then on, the players will have a blurry view of the game regardless of whether or not they’re in first or third-person view. However, some players have reported it to happen instantly. Thus the origin of the blurry-vision bug is still unknown.

A Gamefaqs forum thread shows a player asking for any fixes regarding the bug. He reported that it happened without reason and he noted that his activities before the bug included taking chems and eating cooked Mirelurk meat.

Usually, when the character in “Fallout 4” is injured, he could cure himself through the use of Stimpaks. A visit to the doctor will do as well. This isn’t the case with the new issue. Polygon reports that there’s no way to remove the blurry vision.

Players have tried injuring themselves on purpose so that they could visit Dr. Sun in Diamond City but to no avail. They have tried fast travelling, resting, and even reloading the save file but it still didn’t work. Apparently, the only fix for the bug is to reload a file before the blurred vision occurred.

The problem with this apparent solution is that there are some players who tend to overwrite save files to save up space and to make data managing easier. Some players could be set back a couple of hours of progress if they aren’t careful with the bug and saving.
