Sporting stadiums around the UK remain under strict restrictions due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in games being played behind closed doors.

A Manchester United star may find himself leaving Old Trafford because of his unbecoming behavior.

Things may have not gone well for Dean Henderson at Manchester United in recent times.

While the goalkeeper’s on-pitch performances seemed good, it appears that his dressing room attitude isn’t.

The Red Devils are believed to be continuing with their roster overhaul, and Henderson is now among the club’s possible departees, Football Insider reported, citing unnamed sources.

International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

Henderson is said to be a “big time Charlie” behind the scenes and hasn’t been seeing Solskjaer and other Manchester United coaches eye-to-eye.

Hence, the club is now considering selling the 24-year-old “for the right price,” the report added.

It can be recalled that Henderson made his return to the Manchester United in the 2020-21 season after two successful loan seasons at Sheffield United.

He eventually became Solskjaer’s no. 1 goalkeeper, beating his counterpart Davide De Gea.

In his 13 English Premier League games this past season, Henderson completed an impressive 40 saves and handed Manchester United a total of four clean sheets.

Prior to being linked to a move away from Old Trafford, Henderson was handed a lucrative five-year contract extension last August.

Despite rumors swirling about his behavior, many are still convinced that Henderson is a better shotstopper than De Gea.

“I would go [with] Henderson, he’s 23 and at Premier League level he’s obviously shown that he can perform, with Sheffield United and also now a number of occasions with Manchester United,” former Manchester United star David James told Goal.

“There’s some getting used to playing for Manchester United , which is slightly different to playing for Sheffield United, but the capability that he’s already got and the potential that he has is far greater than what David de Gea offers,” he continued.

James further stressed that Solskjaer should know better that Henderson is equipped with the right tools to become an integral part of the team in the next few years.

“De Gea isn’t a bad goalkeeper, it’s not about that,” the pundit pointed out. “I just think from a manager’s perspective, you’re looking at where the club’s going to go forward. De Gea has been phenomenal for Manchester United, but to stay performing at that level is so difficult.

“I think with the Dean Henderson there’s an opportunity there for Manchester United to go forward,” he added.
