In the previous episode of “Days of Our Lives,” Hope (Kristian Alfonso) was able to track down Dr Malcolm in an abandoned warehouse. After strangling Hope, Dr Malcolm lets her go and says he can reveal the identity of the person who hired him, in exchange of $500,000. Hope agrees with the deal and vows to exact revenge.

Meanwhile, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) were seen sharing an intimate kiss before meeting the mysterious “texter” at the park. It was revealed that their son, Joey (James Lastovic), was responsible for reuniting them. [Spoiler Alert!]

On Thursday, Steve and Kayla will continue their much-awaited romantic reunion. For the first time in years, the two make love and plan for their future, according to Soap Central. However, their happiness might be cut short due to a brewing problem.

Joey, while gloating on bringing together his parents, received praises from Ava (Tamara Braun). However, he continues to be oblivious about Ava's true identity and her real mission, which is to destroy Joey’s family.

Reunions seem to be the recurring theme of Thursday’s episode, as Philip Kiriakis will return home to Salem with huge plans for Titan, She Knows Soaps reports. Viewers will be in for a surprise as Philip, whose character has not been seen on the show since 2011, will sport a new face. Soap opera veteran John-Paul Lavoisier will take over the role previously played by Jay Kenneth Johnson and Kyle Brandt.

Phillip left Salem and proceeded to Chicago in April 2011. He brought Parker, whom he believed is his son, with Chloe Lane, a woman he had a one-night stand with. Philip was then married to Melanie Layton, who suffered a miscarriage. In January 2013, it was revealed that Daniel Jonas is Parker's biological father, not Philip.

Days of Our Lives” airs from Monday to Friday on NBC. More updates and details are expected in the following days.
