Ice dancer Charlie White, contestant of “Dancing With The Stars” Season 18 and his long-time girlfriend Tanith Belbin also an ice dancer tied the knot in Michigan on April 25, according to People. The Olympic ice dancers tied the knot in Ann Arbor, Michigan with White’s brother-in-law Todd Weishaus officiating the ceremony. The couple said “I do” before 130 friends and family inside the enclosed glass Planterra Conservatory in West Bloomfield, amidst a lot of greenery.

The 27-year-old groom who contended for the Mirror Ball trophy on DWTS Season 18 last year was dressed in a simple black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren. Belbin, 30, wore an ivory strapless A-Line gown by Modern Trousseu. The gown featured a pink ombré skirt and sweetheart neckline. Her maid of honour was fellow retired ice dancer Lauren Fenft, with bridesmaids that included White’s three sisters and Charlie's figure skating partner and DWTS SEason 18 winner Meryl Davis.

The bridesmaid and the maid of honour were all dressed in various shades of pink for the ceremony. The best man for the occasion was David Golden, a Chicago teacher and Charlie’s best friend. For their rings, the pair picked a thin platinum band with pave diamonds for her, and a plain platinum band for him. The couple celebrated their vows with a dinner of filet mignon and shrimp cremosi, followed by a three-tier vanilla cake layered with raspberry curd and vanilla buttercream. [See The Picture]

They first met at the suburban Detroit rink in 1998 and have been together since 2009. While White still skates professionally, Belbin retired from competitive skating in 2010. Charlie and Tanith got engaged during a vacation in Hawaii last year. “We were three to four hours into a pretty treacherous hike by the time we reached this beautiful waterfall,” the 2006 Olympic silver medallist said. She reminisced that she had got several wounds and wanted to rinse the wounds when she spotted a pool of water on their trek and that’s when Charlie proposed to her with a ring. Meanwhile, on June 10, 2014, Charlie shared a post-proposal photo during the couple’s trip to Hawaii after DWTS.
