Australian Cricketer David Warner has announced his second child with wife Candice Falzon. The news was disclosed a week after team captain Michael Clarke and his wife broadcasted to have their first baby, according to Perthnow.com.au.

The good news coming from Warner and Clarke gives the Australia National Cricket Team an event to celebrate despite bowing down against England in their first Ashes Test at Cardiff, Wales. The quick scoring left-handed batsman took the social media platforms to proudly publicised his family’s great news.

“Ivy Mae is very excited that she will have a little sister to play around with very soon. @candywarner1 is all fit and well. We are very excited about the news!” Warner posted on his Twitter and Instagram accounts on Tuesday, as reported by CricketCountry.com.

Former Ironwoman and model Falzon also took to Instagram to express her joy and excitement. She shared a photo of her 10-month-old daughter Ivy Mae Warner holding an ultra-sound picture.

“Ivy is so excited and so are we that she is going to have a little sister to play with soon. @davidwarner31 & I couldn't be happier that our little family of 3 will soon become 4,” Falzon posted on her Instagram page.

Warner has been known as a family person who takes time out from his busy cricket schedule to spend moments with his loved ones. His wife and daughter occasionally accompany him on tours including the ongoing cricket series.

Warner and Falzon, who were married earlier this year, are currently in the United Kingdom where the 34-year-old sportsman will play in the second Ashes test at Lord's on Thursday. England defeated Australia by 169 runs at the first Test of the Ashes to grab a 1-0 lead in the best of five series.
