Cody Simpson Thrown In Pool With His Mobile Phone At His Birthday Bash
Singer Cody Simpson was thrown in a pool on his birthday with a mobile phone in his pocket. It was his 18th birthday on Jan. 11 and Cody celebrated it, with his celebrity friends. Few celebs who were present at his birthday bash are singer Selena Gomez, Patrick Schwarzenegger, his model girlfriend Gigi Hadid and Miley Cyrus, among others.
During the party, the birthday boy was thrown in the pool along with his mobile phone. The Australian singer lost all his contacts and contacted his friends through Instagram. "My 18th birthday ended up a little too wild, I was thrown in the pool with my phone in my pocket," Cody wrote on his Instagram account. Gigi posted a picture of Cody "being thrown into the pool" on her Instagram account. It can be seen here.
The celebrity birthday bash took place at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood, Calif., on Jan. 10 night, according to E Online. Cody received birthday wishes from several celebs, including from Selena. "Happiest of birthdays to bubba and such an incredible person. Love you inside out @codysimpson -here's to more," Selena shared on Instagram while posing with Cody.
The photographs indicate that it was a fun party, with huge pepperoni pizza style cakes for Cody. Miley can be seen dancing in the video when Cody is about to cut his huge birthday cake. Check it out here. Cody also attended a second birthday party in Malibu on Jan. 11, according to Hollywood Life. This birthday party was also attended by many celebrities, including singer Justin Bieber. The websites says that Justin and Selena both decided to attend different birthday parties, intentionally, so that they do not bump into each other. The website quotes a source as saying that Justin is not very happy with his ex-girlfriend dating Zedd, who was once a good friend of Justin, too.
Both Justin and Selena are focusing on their respective careers. Justin has announced that he will embark on a tour in 2015 while Selena has been roped in to work opposite "Ant-Man" singer Paul Rudd in the upcoming movie "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving." The film is based on 2013's best selling novel by author Jonathan Evison and will be directed by Emmy Award winner Rob Burnett.
