Recently, "Breaking Bad" actor Aaron Paul was linked to "Star Wars" spin-off movie. Rumours claimed that the Hollywood actor will play one of the lead roles in the first ever franchise's spin-off film about the "Star Wars" iconic character Han Solo. On Jan. 3, 2015, Aaron Paul took to Twitter to address the rumours that he will be playing a major role in "Star Wars" spin-off movie about Han Solo. The actor seemingly neither denied nor confirmed his part in the rumoured movie that is expected to be released in December 2016.

Addressing his million fans on the micro-blogging website, the actor wrote: "Who's starting these rumors? This one is actually making me believe I have a job in 2015. Very exciting. #StarWars"

For those unfamiliar, rumours about Aaron Paul joining "Star Wars" universe began to swirl around in late December, when Making Star Wars' editor Jason Ward broke the news and revealed possible details about the said "first 'Star Wars' spin-off." According to the report, the movie will reportedly revolve around the life and adventures of "Star Wars" iconic character Han Solo, who is originally played by Harrison Ford. The movie is reportedly being planned after "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" under the code name "Luminac Industrial Goods." The website stated that the "filming will eventually overlap" with the eight instalment of the "Star Wars" movie.

"I generally shy away from reporting too much on the specifics of the stand-alone spin-off 'Star Wars' films because we hear so much stuff it can be difficult to know what to take seriously. Since there has never been a 'Star Wars' spin-off film like what we're about to get, there's no good or bad track record," the website wrote. Furthermore, it is noted in the report that the news comes from "sources that have panned out for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'" The information was reportedly disclosed by a friend who previously provided "legit information" including set photos for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

As noted by Cinema Blend, even though Aaron Paul's role was not specified in the report, some media outlets concluded that the actor will be portraying young Han Solo's role. The abovementioned publication speculates that Aaron Paul's name may have surfaced in connection to the "Star Wars" movie because he recently participated in Jason Reitman's live read of "The Empire Strikes Back."

Aaron Paul is best known for his role of Jesse Pinkman in AMC series "Breaking Bad." Some of his recent works include "Need for Speed" and "Exodus: Gods and Kings." He has four movies scheduled to be released in 2015 including "Fathers and Daughters," "Triple Nine," The 9th Life of Louis Drax" and "Eye in the Sky."
