'Blacklist' recap

"Requiem" featured several flashbacks to the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s which focused on Kaplan's (Susan Blommaert) perspective. It showed how Kaplan was hired by Katarina Rostova (Lotte Verbeek) to take care of her daughter Liz. They eventually become friends as the years went by.

It also featured some important scenes such as how she left Liz with her foster father Sam (William Sadler), how she met her first lover and how she first came across Red. The flashbacks were shown alongside scenes in the present time. In it, Red successfully tracked her down. She vowed that she'll do everything in her power to bring Red down and get the revenge she seeks.
