‘Big Bang Theory' Season 9 spoilers: Raj makes a choice on ‘The Application Deterioration’ [VIDEO]
It’s Emily vs Claire once more
After a brief hiatus, “The Big Bang Theory” returns with another seriously funny episode this week on CBS. Following the show’s 200th run, the gang is definitely back in business. Howard (Simon Helberg), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) are busy dealing with legal matters. Their pal Raj (Kunal Nayyar), on the other hand, runs into another love problem wherein he has to choose between two women.
Other “The Big Bang Theory” cast members who will appear on Season 9 Episode 18, titled “The Application Deterioration” include Amy (Mayim Bialik), Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Emily (Laura Spencer). "American Horror Story" actress Alessandra Toressani returns as a guest star on the show’s upcoming installment.

TV Guide reports that Raj turn to the ladies for dating advice after he hears from Emily for the first time after they broke up. Meanwhile, Howard, Leonard and Sheldon consider applying for a patent for the infinite persistence gyroscope.
The official YouTube channel of “The Big Bang Theory” posted sneak peeks of the upcoming episode. On one preview video, Sheldon, Howard and Leonard are seen reviewing a contract that Sheldon has drawn up about the patent.

On another teaser, the guys run in a problem in their plans of applying for a patent. Leonard suggests to go around the university and get the patent themselves. Howard squashes the idea, saying that as long as they work there, the university has controlling ownership of whatever they come up with. They then come into the decision to split whatever’s left of the profit among the three of them.

Meanwhile, the girls examine the gift that Raj received from Emily for Valentine’s Day. They discover that the present – a sextant – is quite an expensive one. Penny doubts that it meant nothing. Suddenly, Emily calls Raj. Penny advises him to answer the phone, to be strong and to avoid making promises even when Emily cries.
