It’s time for Shamy fans to do the celebratory jig. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), who broke up in the final moments of “The Big Bang Theory” Season 8, will be getting back together in the upcoming episode, titled "The Earworm Reverberation." They are also set to confess their love for each other.

The previous episode saw Amy telling Sheldon that she wants to be his girlfriend again, but the latter rejected her proposal. According to Episode 10 synopsis, "Sheldon, while listening to a Beach Boys song, realises he cannot get the song or Amy out of his head and realises how much she has done for him and how much she means to him."

The spoilers leaked online indicate that Sheldon and Amy will become a couple again in "The Earworm Reverberation," as Sheldon will realise the importance of Amy in his life.

According to "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 spoilers, Sheldon is plagued by a tune that he cannnot get out of his head, and he drives Penny and Leonard crazy by constantly humming it. Afterwards, he realises that the song is from "Beach Boys.” The lyrics of the song make him feel that they are talking about him and Amy, and it dawns on him how important Amy is to him and how she made him a better person, the spoilers reveal.

Armed with his newfound realisation, Sheldon goes to meet Amy, who is trying to work thing out with Dave (Stephen Merchant), as Sheldon rejected her proposal to get back together in "The Platonic Permutation.” Sheldon interrupts them when they take another shot at kissing each other, according to spoilers of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10.

Spoilers also reveal that Sheldon says, "Amy is the Earworm in his heart." Dave, who is a huge fan of Sheldon, explains Sheldon's statement, saying it is his way of saying that he loves Amy. The episode is set to end with Sheldon and Amy professing their love for each other.

“The Big Bang Theory” Season 9 is currently on a mini-break, and it is scheduled to return on Dec. 10 on CBS in the U.S.
