'Arrow' Season 2, Episode 23 Spoilers: Oliver Queen, Black Canary in Finale Questions; Enemies Become Allies in 'Unthinkable' [Watch Promo Video]

"Arrow" Season 2, Episode 23, the second season finale of the DC Comics-inspired series, airs May 14 on The CW. Titled "Unthinkable," Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and the Black Canary (Caity Lotz) face Deathstroke aka Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) with enemies-turned-allies. Fans ask what happens next, while others predict that Sara Lance and the first Canary dies here.

That Caity's Sara Lance would eventually die is a common speculation among Arrow fans who expect Katie Cassidy to don the Black Canary costume, eventually. Arrow Season 2 sees the development of Roy Harper aka Red Arrow (Colton Haynes). Katie being in the lead cast could mean she is next in Season 3.

In a Zap2It report, EP Andrew Kreisberg assured fans - before Arrow Season 2 premiered - that Laurel Lance does become the Black Canary, as in the DC Comics. He said The CW's Arrow is about "how we get from A to B." Caity Lotz has been a compelling Canary; many Arrow fans will miss her if Sara Lance dies.

Fans expect the unthinkable, regardless of the word's ambiguity. Arrow showrunners Marc Guggenheim, Greg Berlanti, and Andrew Kreisberg are all part of the direction and teleplay of the Arrow Season 2 finale. Heroes and villains team up, while some good guys, i.e. the A.R.G.U.S., get lost in the chaos.

Enemies John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Deadshot (Michael Rowe) become allies again in Arrow Season 2, Episode 23. This time they are battling ARGUS (Advanced Research Group Uniting Super-Humans). Without meaning to, the organisation unites super-humans against itself, particularly its "End Deathstroke, End Mirakuru" mission in Starling City.

Also showing up in Arrow Season 2, Episode 23 are Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and Isabel Rochev aka Ravager (Summer Glau). Katrina Law is also back in what could be an emotional episode for her character, Nyssa Al Ghul (in case Black Canary dies).

Stephen Amell said on Twitter the Arrow Season 2 finale is the "best episode of television in 2014." Based on the spoiler photos and sneak peek videos, Stephen could be spot-on (although half the year is not over yet).

Arrow Season 2, Episode 23, aka Unthinkable, airs on The CW at 8 p.m. Season 3 is expected around September-October 2014. From The Vigilante, Oliver Queen becomes The Arrow. He could be the Green Arrow in Season 3, because Red Arrow has just hooded up.
