If latest reports are to be believed, Apple will be holding an event in March where it will unveil four different models of Apple iPad Pro. Even though the Cupertino tech giant is totally mum about this news, internal sources have confirmed this. Fans are naturally on the top of the world as they have been waiting long to know the fate of some of Apple’s device lineups. Earlier, a Barclays analyst had predicted the announcement of a bezel-less Apple iPad Pro with a screen size of 10.5 inches. This model could also be revealed during the March event.

According to information provided by Mac Otakara and reported by Tech Radar, it was also widely anticipated that Apple will release the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2, 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 at the end of March, which now seems to be true. The 10.5-inch iPad pro was speculated to be released in May. It has been revealed that during the iPad Pro announcement in March, Apple will also showcase a 128GB iPhone SE over and above the 16GB and 64GB models.

Insider sources have also revealed that a red model will be added to the current Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus lineup. Moreover, a new band for Apple Watch may also be announced. Now, that is a lot of information at one go for fans to digest. Coming back to iPads, earlier reports had claimed that the 7.9-inch iPad Pro will replace the iPad Mini 4 and 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch models will serve as successors to the two current sizes of the iPad Pro. However, despite the leaks, it is still unclear how all four models relate to each other.

Apple is also reportedly developing curved end-to-end screens for its future mobile handsets. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus red model could be Apple’s way of promoting Product Red, an HIV/AIDS awareness fundraiser Apple has worked with multiple times in the past. A 128GB iPhone SE could prove to be a hit this year, considering the fact, the Apple iPhone 8 (iPhone X) will cost more than US$1,000 (AU$1,300 approx), writes VentureBeat. Even though there is no confirmation on price, pricing trends indicate a price tag of US$499 (AU$650 approx) or US$549 (AU$720 approx).

Apple is reportedly working on a more powerful processor for the iPad Pro 2. The chip would be succeeding the A9X processor. Thus, the upcoming iPad models could have the A10X processors, though the company may still use the A9X chip for the cheaper models.
