Amanda Bynes may be busy on the road to recovery but apparently she found time tweeting “I Love Drake” from inside the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Center. It took 20,000 re-tweets before Bynes' lawyer broke her silence and denied it was Amanda, claiming the former child star’s account was hacked.

The Twitterverse experienced a very disturbing weekend when a post from @AmandaBynes Twitter account posted “I Love Drake!” The tweet came following news that the "She’s the Man" star is being required by her doctors, with her parents’ consent, for an extended stay at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Amanda has been required for prolonged treatment for involuntary mental health evaluation, officially called 5150, and she is likely to be under observation until 2014.

The news of her extended stay and her first tweet after months has brought a disturbing sign for her followers and Twitter users.

Some followers attested that these could not be possible since patients are required to turn in their personal items including phones and other electronic devices when they enter the facility.

Amanda’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak, confirmed that, indeed, the troubled star has no access to phone and other gadgets, and there’s no way that the star could have tweeted “I Love Drake” Saturday, Aug. 31.

Speaking to RadarOnline, Arminak claimed Amanda’s account was hacked.

"Amanda’s Twitter account has been hacked. She is at the UCLA Medical Center with no access to phones or computers,"Arminak was quoted as telling Radar by The Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Drake remained mum after the recent post made by Amanda. The rapper and Rihanna’s rumoured beau opened up about Amanda’s tweets in early August, and he admitted that it was a bit “disturbing” if, indeed, it was Amanda.

"I don't even know who is doing that or what that's about," Drake was quoted as telling XXL magazine, according to the Los Angeles Times as noted in a separate IBTimes-AU report. "If that is her, I guess it's a little weird and disturbing."

It is also said that Amanda may not be staying at the UCLA Medical Center in the next 12 months as earlier claimed by various news outlets. The Daily Mail noted that Amanda is likely to stay for another 60 days or 2 months, not 12, at the facility.

The development came as the family of Amanda debunked an earlier statement made by a publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, who took it upon himself to disclose Amanda’s whereabouts on Friday, Aug. 30. Amanda’s family belied any association with Jaxson and re-iterated that the man is not representing Amanda Bynes or any member of her family.
