The 67th Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced on Thursday morning. Emmy winner and “Orange is the New Black” actress, Uzo Aduba, and four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee and host of "So You Think You Can Dance,” Cat Deeley, presented this year's nominations.

HBO led the nomination list, with 126 nods, and its "Game of Thrones" earned 24 nominations, the most for a series. Netflix scored 34 nods on Thursday morning, and both its critically acclaimed series "House of Cards" and "Orange is the New Black" have bagged nominations in the outstanding drama series category. The other nominees in this coveted category are "Better Call Saul," "Downton Abbey," "Game of Thrones," "Homeland," and "Mad Men," which wrapped up earlier in May, scored its last Emmy nomination.

Fox's smash hip-hop drama "Empire" failed to earn a nomination for outstanding drama series, while CBS' "The Big Bang Theory" was also noticeably absent from the best comedy series nomination list.
