Xbox One New Updates For Preview And 1TB Version Spotted; Catch The Last Day For Deals Of The Week

The Xbox One is poised for more improvements and features coming in. The most recent addition to the preview program is the addition of game DVR with 60FPS support. One Reddit fan even crunched some numbers and found that the bitrate may be higher. Redditor SigmaTheDJ also added that the figure comparison was for a 60FPS recording and a 30FPS recording. This more than doubles the bit rate of the 60FPS clip.

GameSpot added that there are no announcements made yet by Microsoft. Usually, there are hints as to what may be coming to the Xbox One System Update. Best to wait for the next wave of new features and improvements for the May update.

Another possible improvement to the Xbox One is a new sighting for a 1TB Xbox One. DualShockers spotted a preorder for this new Xbox One without the Kinect. In addition, it was dated for launch on June 23. Microsoft has not yet announced any plans to release a 1TB Xbox One in the near future. But the very timing can mean a possible E3 2015 announcement in the works.

In the meantime, today is the last day that Weekly Deals with Gold and Spotlight Sale will be available. Major Nelson previously announced that some interesting EA titles are offered for the Xbox One. “Far Cry 4” and “Far Cry 4 Gold Edition” are offered at 45% and 40% discounts respectively. The other EA title, “Assassin’s Creed Unity” is also offered at 45%.

The Xbox 360 has a few more titles on sale. In anticipation of the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3,” a couple of “Call of Duty” titles are offered up to 75%. Apart from these, a few “Far Cry” titles as well as add-ons for “BioShock Infinite” are on the list of discounted titles:
