There’s no slowing down for Selena Gomez at this time. Despite her busy schedule with concert tours and upcoming film projects, Selena Gomez has found time to commit to a live performance on the “X Factor USA.” And she will be singing “Slow Down” Thursday, Nov. 14.

Some of the TXFU fans on the show’s official page on Facebook reacted to the announcement made by its marketing arm that Selena is taking the stage on the second day of Week 13. Thinking Selena may not have a busy schedule to be on the show two weeks in a row. This stems from the “Come and Get It” singer original scheduled to be on the show last Nov. 7.

Others claim that TXFU may indeed be in so much trouble that they resort to celebrities to pump up ratings. The latter tune has been sung by a blogger posted on boomtron.com.

“I have never agreed with this practice,” the blogger wrote on boomtron.com, referring to Selena (and other celebrities) being invited to attract audience.

“These are supposed to be competitions revolving around the contestants, not the celebrities they bring on to boost ratings. If you need to lean on celebrities to ensure a large audience then you’re doing something wrong that publicity stunts won’t fix.”

But Selena’s production number was cancelled last week following the technical difficulties suffered by the show’s online voting for Top 12 finalists. The voting gaffe forced TXFU contestants to sing for America’s vote for the second time in one week, which consequently resulted in having little time for Selena’s live performance.

Selena will perform her hit single, “Slow Down” from her album, “Stars Dance.” It debuted No.1 on Billboard 200 after its release in July 2013, according to AceShowbiz.

Knowing Selena’s love for dancing, the Entertainmentwise.com predicted that Selena will perform her hit song with a “well-choreographed and lively routine” on her production number.

"My attention span is all over the place. Dancing allows me to go away and not have to think of what I'm doing next. That is my opportunity for me to really escape," Selena said, according to the Entertainmentwise.com.
