Ultimate Fighting Championship, or UFC, reigning women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made waves with her surprise participation in this year’s edition of Wrestlemania at Levi’s Stadium. The undefeated mixed martial arts star generated the loudest reception of the night and most number of Internet searches after the event.

The successful venture of Rousey prompted the World Wrestling Entertainment, or WWE, to pitch ideas that would bring back the transcendent star to the company’s fold for next year’s Wrestlemania 32 at Texas. WWE is reportedly hoping to stage a one-on-one match between Rousey and the head of Authority, Stephanie McMahon in a singles match that would mark the fight debut of the UFC star. The outfit is hoping to fill-up a 100,000-seating capacity stadium is looking at all means to bring in the hordes of wrestling fans, a plan which includes putting Rousey front and centre.

“But WWE sources say the idea is not a mixed tag, but two singles matches, meaning Rousey vs. McMahon is the match they are looking at doing,” Dave Meltzer of MMA Fighting first broke out the plan in his latest column.

Rousey, appearing alongside her “Fast and the Furious 7” co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, while trash talking McMahon and husband Triple H gave the impression that a tag team match was in the works for next year. However, a tag team match is not set in stone or the appearance of Rousey is secure especially that her publicist recently revealed that her involvement was a one-time deal and no future plans have been agreed upon.

The undefeated queen of the Octagon currently has her plate full with her upcoming title defence against Bethe Correia slated for August at Correia’s home country in Rio de Janeiro. She is also busy promoting her latest film, “Fast and the Furious 7” which made its debut over the weekend. Aside from these she is looking forward to her cameo in the “Entourage: The Movie,” which will come out in two months and the launch of a biography penned with her sister slated to hit bookshelves in May.

Despite her busy schedule Rousey took the time to answer her Twitter followers and was game to answers questions even related to her WWE stint. She revealed that despite the stature of “The Rock,” she would handily come out as the winner if they are pitted against each other in a wrestling match.
