Tyrion Lannister and the dragons in "Winds of Winter" has been a subject of a lot of debate and speculation among the fans of the book series. Here is a look at some of the recent fan predictions on the subject. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Tyrion Lannister is close to the city of Meereen, where a big battle is about to take place in "Winds of Winter"; Daenerys Targaryen may not be taking a part in this battle as she is far away with Drogon. This has led to speculation that Tyrion will help in the battle and may even get to ride a dragon.

Will Tyrion get to be a dragon rider? According to some of the fans of the book series at Westeros forum, Tyrion has a good chance of riding Viserion. The theory states that Tyrion need not be a Targaryen in order to bond with the dragon and may use his extensive knowledge to his advantage.

However, the bigger question is how Daenerys Targaryen will react to Tyrion when she does return to Meereen. Tyrion is the brother of the man who killed Daenerys' father and a man who killed his own father. Will Daenerys accept such a man to bond with one of her dragons?

One of the fans suggests that Tyrion may not be playing such a big role in "Winds of Winter" and may instead spend a lot of time working behind the scenes. He was already seen trying to enlist the support of the mercenary company Second Sons for Daenerys.

Will Tyrion Lannister be able to ride a dragon? Another theory on the subject states that the three dragons may be split among three different factions in the story. Drogon is with Daenerys, and Victarion Greyjoy may command another by using the dragon horn.

Tyrion riding the dragon Viserion in "Winds of Winter" will make him a major player in Westeros. Fans also speculate the big battle of wits will be between Varys and Petyr Baelish in the future. With ambitious men trying to achieve their goals, the continuous wars in Westeros may lead to food shortages across the realm. Will Daenerys Targaryen return to a hungry and more chaotic Meereen?
