Microsoft has released the latest technical preview build of Windows 10 for desktop users. Until the final version of Windows 10 is released, desktop users will continue to receive newer builds every month. However, Window Phone Insiders are eagerly waiting for the next build of Windows 10 for phones as the Redmond giant has not released a newer build after rolling out the first one around six weeks ago.

Gabriel Aul, the Engineering General Manager with Microsoft, has published a post on the official Windows blog that states that the developers at Microsoft are putting good efforts in releasing the next build of Windows 10 for phones. However, he says that a bit more time is required to roll out new build.

The first Windows 10 for mobile preview version with build number 8.10.142.19.341 is not available for all Lumia device users. As of this writing, the build only supports six handsets such as the Lumia 630, the Lumia 635, the Lumia 636, the Lumia 638, the Lumia 730 and the Lumia 830. Gabriel has added that the forthcoming build will bring support for additional devices.

The Windows Hardware Engineering Community (WinHEC) conference is currently going on in Shenzhen in China. WM Power User reports that according to the recent announcement by Microsoft at WinHec, the next build Windows 10 may not arrive in this week, but when it does arrive it may feature the newest edition of Office.

In the recent past, leaked images of the Windows 10 for phones with build number 10038.12518 had surfaced. Microsoft has not confirmed anything on the leaked screenshots, but the pictures reveal couple of new features that may come on the next build.

The International Business Times report from March 17 states that it will come with new improvements to the user interface, support for LED notifications, convenient way to delete Microsoft account from the device, and more. The Redmond based company is going to release the Windows 10 as a free upgrade for users of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows Phone 8.1 by the coming summer. Another IBTimes report has published the details on the minimum hardware requirements of Windows 10 for mobile devices.
