For 5 years, Gossip Girl's identity remained a mystery but on the show's 100th episode, the concealed persona who made the tagline "XOXO" famous was finally revealed.

Georgina Sparks, played by Michelle Tratchenberg as the crooked rich girl from the Upper East Side, was unveiled to be the girl behind Gossip Girl.

During the highly anticipated 100th episode, Sparks was seen on her computer signing off the popular blog "XOXO Gossip Girl".

This news may come as a surprise to the avid viewers of the show but apart from the revelation, another trivia is that the famous whimsical and pristine voice of Gossip Girl belonged to the actress Kristen Bell.

Tratchenberg's character has caused nothing but chaos in the lives of those in the Upper East Side. Of course Blair Waldorf who's played by Leighton Meester was no exception.

During Blair's royal wedding to Prince Louis, Sparks played a video of Chuck Bass, played by Ed Westwick. It was filmed ahead of the nuptials and in there was a heartbroken Bass professing his love for his ex-girlfriend.

Meanwhile on an interview, Michelle expressed her joy to be back on the series despite being the character that always caused a stir.

"It's always amazing coming back to Gossip Girl. We're a family. Even if Georgina always tries to break it up," Michelle said.

"I can't say how many episodes [I'm doing], but there will definitely be a healthy dose of Ms. Sparks, and to be a part of the 100th episode, a big milestone, is very special," the actress added.
