Celebrities have often been targeted by death hoaxes, but in a rare kind of circumstance, late singer Tupac Shakur has become victim to the alive hoax. The report in regard to the singer being alive was posted by popular hoax website Huzlers.

The article on the website read as, "Tupac Shakur who was supposedly killed at the age of 25 is now admitting he has been hiding this whole time. It was Shakur who in 1996 was reportedly attending a special event in Las Vegas, the Mike Tyson-Benson fight, and then afterwards was brutally murdered. A day or so later he is autopsied, then quickly cremated." The further report can be read here.

Huzlers calls itself a satirical website, and it has also given disclaimer on the bottom of its every page which says, "Huzlers.com is a satirical entertainment website with shocking news and outrageous celebrity gossip to keep its visitors in a state of shock and disbelief."

The report was coupled with late rapper's photo where he could be seen posing with Beyoncé.

The fake report was met with immense backlash and many Twitter users who were tricked into believing that the rapper is alive, expressed their disappointment. Here is a Twitter reaction:

Tupac was known by his stage name 2Pac. The singer has sold more than 75 million records. The world lost one of the greatest singers when he was shot various times at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The singer was rushed to the nearby hospital, but he succumbed to the injuries and didn't survive more than six days. Tupac's murder is also covered in a documentary called "Tupac: Assassination " and "Tupac: Assassination II: Reckoning". The films talk about the unsolved murder mystery of the rapper. Tupac was and still considered a hip-hop genius.
